Today is a very special day for Sikh community because today is the birthday of the first Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Guru Nanak Devji’s birth took place on April 15, 1469, AD (Vaishak Sudi 3, v.1526 Vikrami) at Talwandi Rai Bhoi, now known as Nankana Sahib.
